Music is a vital part to our daily life. It gets us amped on the morning commute to work, it keeps us focused when studying for a big exam, it comforts us when we’re sad or lost, but most importantly, music helps us make memories at the most important moments of our lives. Whether it be a Wedding, a Birthday, a fancy Business Soiree, or any other kind of planned event, music is the catalyst for expressing our excitement as well as our hopes and dreams.

I understand how important music is and how it plays a special of a role in our lives, and that is why I’ve dedicated my life to sharing music with the world. The right song at the right time can serve as an escape from reality. It transports us to a different place, a place where nothing else matters except those sharing in that moment with us.

Is there a Set up/Break down Fee?

No additional cost whatsoever!

How early do you arrive to an event?

It’s customary for us to arrive 2 hours prior to start time.

Do you provide the music?

Yes; there’s no cost or burden for you to provide any music (unless a special recording or unreleased). We will provide all music requested.

Do You take Requests?

That all depends; I take requests when my client says it’s ok to take requests. I can stick to a specific playlist or take song requests from your guests (or both)!

How Long Have You Been In The Event Industry?

I became an event DJ in 2011 while still attending Webster University in St. Louis, MO. I worked for an amazing company in Missouri which lead to nationwide travels as a National DJ ambassador. I held the number #1 DJ spot for about 3 years, but when the opportunity struck to move my wife back to her home state of Texas, we jumped on that opportunity. March of 2021 will mark my 10th year in the Weddings & Events Industry.

How Far In Advance Should I Book our DJ?

There are a lot of moving parts to planning any kind of event (a wedding in particular) So what I advise is, after picking the Date, Venue and Photographer, that is the perfect time to book DJ. This is because the most popular photographers, venues, and DJs book faster than you think, and it’s better to lock in your favorite choice before their schedule fills up.

What Should I Prepare Ahead of Meeting with a DJ?

There’s a lot of moving pieces that will continue to change right up until the day of the event. What you want to have ready for your DJ is the general details of the event (Date, Location, Time Frame, etc.) as well as an idea of what you want your event to look and feel like. Music is the obvious factor, so if there are specific songs you like or don’t like, it always helps to have that ready before you connect with your DJ.
